HairCut Reviews For Sport Clips Haircuts of Crystal Lake

I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to asking for what I want in a haircut, so I tend to give the barber a general outline of what I need, then trust that they know how to make my hair not look terrible. I went in yesterday, and told the lady to cut down to a half inch on the sides, and basically leave the top long, maybe cut an inch off at most. So she cut the sides down to a quarter inch, and then cut the top down to about two inches left. Keep in mind it was maybe 5-6 inches long when I came in. She also shaved a widows peak into my forehead for some reason, making it look like I have a receding hairline. As a 23 year old with good hair genes, I do not have a receding hairline. Or rather, I didn't until now. Finally, the fade she cut was so high that there's maybe 3 inches of the longer part left (going across my forehead). One might ask why I didn't stop her; I didn't because she faced me away from the mirror the entire time, so I didn't know what she was attempting to do until she was already deep into it. When she was finished, she didn't even show me the damage she had done (like every haircut I have ever had), she told me to just head up front immediately and she'll meet me there. I could tell it was shorter than I had wanted, but didn't think it was this bad. When I got in my car, I realized just how bad it looked. Even after giving it 24 hours to settle, I'm still furious. I will never be coming back to any sport clips ever. I'm done.
